Whoops - I dropped my bucket!
The astronaut was flying into space to the moon to collect some moon rocks and sand from the craters. He better watch out for the flying asteroids! Can you see the American flag on the little moon? I drew that because the Americans were the first ones to land on the moon!

Exploring space!!
My amazing astronaut is having fun because he is jumping on the crazy craters and bouncing like a kangaroo. Guess why?
If you guessed its because there is no gravity on the moon - you are very smart! Watch out for the rocket behind you Mr Astronaut or it might crash into you!
"I want to go back to my rocket before the asteroid rocks and comets hit me."

Their rocket has a billowing smoke trail behind it.
There is a comet that is flying through space in the air - can you find it?
Mars is a little bit read and orange because it is a boiling hot planet that has no water, and lots of red dust!

The Solar System
Did you know another name for the sun is the solar system. The sun is like a firey ball of gas!!!
The hottest star is the sun. It is so hot that if you go too close you will die.
From earth the sun is 93 million miles away. It is burning and incredibly hot, and it is also the biggest star. Planet Earth needs the sun or everyone would be dead!!!
By Ezra, Room 4.

The magnificent whale tale!
"I drew a whale tail because it is a NZ icon.
Imagine a person getting too close and the whales tail goes 'boom' and then it turns around and eats them!
When they're stuck inside, they will be fighting around to get out, and they might get out through the blowhole!!!!"
They might land on the beach and say " Yay - I'm alive!!" said Noah.

Dreaming of Colcannon!
When I was gone from school I was sick in bed. When I got out of bed I played with Toby.
I think the Colcannon Room 4 made would be remarkable, amazing and magnificent!
It is an Irish dish of mashed potato, spring onions, chinese cabbage, salt, pepper and butter.
I was sad because I wanted to have some Colcannon. . .
