Whoops - I dropped my bucket!

The astronaut was flying into space to the moon to collect some moon rocks and sand from the craters. He better watch out for the flying asteroids! Can you see the American flag on the little moon? I drew that because the Americans were the first ones to land on the moon!

Exploring space!!

My amazing astronaut is having fun because he is jumping on the crazy craters and bouncing like a kangaroo. Guess why?
If you guessed its because there is no gravity on the moon - you are very smart! Watch out for the rocket behind you Mr Astronaut or it might crash into you!
"I want to go back to my rocket before the asteroid rocks and comets hit me."

A happy star...

The little star was looking for a name. He had lots of planets and they gave him a special name called the sun. All of the planets are called the solar system. The little star was so happy to have a family now.( Dictated to the teacher) By Manuwai.

Deep in space

The rocket is going into space. The brave and clever astronauts are going to the moon. They are going to study the moon to find out about what is happening on the moon. (Dictated to the teacher) By Samoa

Out of this world!

Look at the amazing rocket and astronaut. The astronaut is waving to us on planet Earth -
do you want to come back to Earth with us?
Lucky he's got oxygen in his backpack so he can breathe!
By Tareek.

Blast off - mission time!

Look at my shiny rocket going out to space to study some stars. Soon he will go to a planet. Maybe there will be no gravity on the planet and he will float!!
Its flying through the starry space sky!
Hope you have a happy mission astronaut.

The rocket went high up into space. The brave astronauts are looking for the planet Mars. My favourite planet is Mercury because it is closest to the sun. (Dictated to the teacher) By Aneelis

Mission Possible. . .

Guess what? This amazing astronaut is going to space to study about the planets. Lucky he has oxygen to breathe from his back-pack. Can you see Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Saturn? Good luck on your mission astronaut!!
