The Year One Classes at Pt England School love to share their work with friends and family. We are 5 classes of 5 and 6 year olds and we have been doing lots of cool things at school. We are getting better at reading and writing and we know you will enjoy reading our stories.

The landing. . .
Can you see the taniwha at the front of my waka? He scared all the dangerous sea creatures so the mighty maori mariners can be safe. I can see the sparkling blue ocean and the golden sand!
The logs are for rolling the waka up onto the beach.
I unpacked the coconuts and some chickens to eat. We bought them on our journey.
"I'm so glad we have reached land. . ."
