Can you see the taniwha at the front of my waka? He scared all the dangerous sea creatures so the mighty maori mariners can be safe. I can see the sparkling blue ocean and the golden sand!
The logs are for rolling the waka up onto the beach.
I unpacked the coconuts and some chickens to eat. We bought them on our journey.

I enjoyed viewing your post. That is a great picture, definitely better than anything I can draw! I also enjoyed reading your story along with it which really allowed me to visualize what was happening in the picture.
