The Year One Classes at Pt England School love to share their work with friends and family. We are 5 classes of 5 and 6 year olds and we have been doing lots of cool things at school. We are getting better at reading and writing and we know you will enjoy reading our stories.

Cross Country Champions!
Room 1 are very proud of our 5 year old cross country champions! Antonia, Marilyn, Enyahlee, and Sean all received lovely certificates at assembly for coming first, second or third in their races.
Hi Room 1 Champions! You have been wonderful runners - I can tell by looking at the photo with the beautiful certificates. I wonder if any of you are in the cross country movie I saw over on Room 10's blog? There were some mighty fine runners in that movie too. Mrs Burt
The cross country was awesome and I'm glad I finished work early to come watch because it was worth it. Congratulations to all who took part, everyone looked like they enjoyed themselves.
