The mighty maori mariners voyage across the ocean!


When the mighty maori mariners voyaged across the sea, the waka hourua sailed from Hawaiiki.
They were twin hulled wakas. Treacherous waves threatened the journey of the mighty mariners! They bought food and supplies to survive the journey.

Amber looks inside a volcano.


"I'm going to look inside the volcano - and this is what I see! I can see the magma chamber at the bottom of the volcano, and the magma goes UP the main vent. Then, when its finished going up, the magma comes out of the crater and it turns into lava."
